The Union Township Public Library is fully aware of the concerns over COVID-19.  As of March 14th, the governor of Ohio has NOT asked libraries to close, so we will continue to be open with our regular hours. While this may change if directed to close from the health department or the governor’s office, we plan to be here for our patrons.

We have made a few concessions to the concern—we have cancelled storytimes  at our libraries for the remainder of March, postponed Rick Houser’s author talk scheduled for March 21st  and we will not be having our DIY Bunnies workshop that was scheduled for March 28th.   We’ve put away our toys that have many parts (sorry kids!) as it would be difficult to wipe down each part after every session, but for the most part, we are fully functional.

If there is a planned non-library use of the meeting room, please talk to the coordinator, we will allow the use of the room, but it is up to the group to hold the meeting or cancel.

Several libraries that we borrow from throughout the state have closed, and this may cause a delay on the delivery time of requested items, but we won’t know how big of an impact this will have, so please be patient.

Stay well and stay tuned, we will keep you posted.
