Hopefully when you read this, the cold snap has passed and there will have been little or no frozen pipes, electrical failure or frostbite!  Unless something major happens at any of our buildings, we plan to be here, waiting for you to stop in and visit.  If the weather prevents you from travelling and you are concerned about something being overdue, give us a call—even if we can’t renew it full term, we can tweak a due date a little bit when the situation warrants it.

On Sunday, February 10th at 2:00 p.m., we will be welcoming Col. Sanders to the library annex in Ripley to portray his life history. (He was more that fried chicken with 11 herbs and spices!) We have had wonderful programs via the Kentucky Humanities over the years, so we expect a high quality production this time as well. These programs are family-friendly, free and all are welcome.

New books for next week include Johnathan Kellerman’s The Wedding Guest, J.D. Robb’s Connections in Death and Sophie Kinsella’s I Owe you One, and that is just what arrived on Monday for processing—more to come, as always.
