Searching the Catalog
The library catalog searches the collections of all the SEO Consortium Member Libraries in Ohio. To find only items owned by Ripley, Russellville, or Aberdeen, select “Union Township Public Library System” in the “Library” box. For more search options, use the “Power Search” link that appears below “Quick Search.”
You can check your library account, see what items you have checked out and when they are due, renew your items, view the status of any requests you have placed, and check whether you have any fines, all by using the library catalog online! Simply use the “My Account” fields in the Catalog header to log in with your library card barcode and PIN number.
You may request that an item be reserved for you, and sent to your local branch for you to borrow. You will simply need
- your library card barcode number, and
- your library PIN number. (What’s this?)
When you find the item you wish to request in the catalog, click on “Place Hold.” You will be asked to enter your library card barcode number and PIN number, and to specify at which library you would like to pick up the item.
Stay in Touch
Worried about due dates? Don’t get a fine! You can receive automatic email notifications when your items are about to become due, and reminders if they have become overdue, by providing the Union Township Public Library with your email address. If you would like to be reminded by email when your items are about to become due, please give us your current email address, and ask for email notification.
Suggest a Book
Can’t find a book in the Catalog? Use our web form to suggest a book or other item you’d like the library to add to our collection. While we can’t purchase every item suggested, we’re always happy to consider your recommendations.
